The First Beach Access Point
As you come over the north bridge Siesta Drive takes a sharp left and turns into Higel Avenue. Go slow and watch for the third right to turn onto Shell Road and go to the end. There are ~15 parking spots (one is handicapped only) and see if you find one.

The beach is sheltered from northwest winds by Lido Key, but still has clear views of the Gulf. It is tiny with private property on either side. A hidden gem, it’s known mostly to the locals. Stop by it after you cross over onto the key and see if there is room to park.
