Siesta Beach is huge. Here’s an amazing panning camera live
stream to view what’s going on in real time. How cool is that! It would make a nice screen saver.

The Beach Access Points
Here is Mark Zaremba’s 2024 video showing small and large beaches along the seven miles of coastline. He shows all 13 beach access points allowing visitors to use the less busy beaches before reaching the huge, Siesta Beach. The first 11 points are north of the big public beach and provide a less crowded beach experience, although you will share them with the condo owners and renters that line the beach. All
beaches are open from 6am–Midnight. No pets are allowed. Beach Access Point #4, shown to the right, has 5–6 parking spots.

Access points 2 through through 11 are on the north end of Siesta Beach, just above the main beach. There are no
lifeguards or bathrooms, but some have a bench, trash cans and/or a bike rack. A few have parking.

People drive down Beach Road checking for a space, and if none are found they just park at the main beach for free.

From the main beach south, mostly condos dominate any access to the beach. However, at Access Point 12 you can park for Crescent Beach, across from Old Stickney Point Rd and Capt. Curt’s Crab and Oyster Bar. This is a long, narrow parking area (see the next section for a picture), which is popular because it is close to the bridge, dining and shopping so it fills up early. It leads to Crescent Beach, which is described in the next section. There is no bike rack there, sadly.

Access Point 13 also leads to Crescent Beach. It has no parking but is close enough to walk from Access Point 12, if you are lucky enough to find a spot there. Let’s look at Crescent Beach next.

Traveling south, next we come to Crescent Beach, described in the next
section.
