Open every day of the year from 8am to sundown, there is a $3 parking fee. There is a great 1.3 mile hiking trail, considered “easy,” starting right at the parking lot. Look for Osprey, southern Bald Eagles, fiddler crabs and wading birds. Bay cedar, coontie, prickly pear cactus, indigo berry, etc. are present. Scuba diving from the beach is allowed up to an hour before sunset. Park rangers offer tours.

Beach wheelchairs are offered by staff, note there is no ranger station or park office. There are restrooms, picnic tables and grills. Service animals are OK. Stump Pass Beach

Marks the southern most tip of Manasota Key. On the other side of the Pass, to the south, is the beginning of Gasparilla Island in Lee County. So this the end of the beaches on the keys of Sarasota County.
